![]() In another narration, it’s said: “Who recites this surah and Surah Al Ikhlaas before resting, Allah would not give polytheism a chance to touch him: On the Day of Judgment, he/she would be raised with martyrs” Its stated in a Hadith that: “Who recites this Surah and Surah Al Ikhlaas in the required Salaat, Allah would pardon his/her wrongdoings, the sins of guardians and children, and if his name is written in the register of defiant, it would be deleted from it and written in the register of temperate and lucky people. ![]() ![]() Following are the few benefits of the Surah: This Surah was divulged in Makkah in answer to different ideas by the people who followed idolatry to Prophet Muhammad (s), with the goal that he may perceive their objects of worship and offer them part-worshiper. ![]() Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) has stated in his Hadith that: “It is equivalent to a quarter of the Qur’an” (Tirmidhi). Recitation of this Surah before sleeping keeps one safe the entire night. If someone dies after reciting this surah, he will be a martyr. Recounting Surah Al-Kafirun in mandatory prayer is a method for the pardoning of sins for the reciter, his folks and his kids. It is additionally among the five Surahs that have been prescribed to be recited amid a journal,y the others being Surah Al-Fatihah, A Nasr, Al-Falaq, and A Naas. The recitation of this Surah keeps one safe from Shirk. The benefits of reciting Surah Al Kafiroon is tremendous. Kafiroon is meant by “Disbelievers of Allah” and that’s what this surah is based upon. It is present in the 30 th chapter of the Quran and has the 109 th number in the Quranic order. Nor will I worship those whom you have worshipped ,Surah Kafirun is one of the shortest Meccan Surahs consisting of only 6 verses. Nor will ye worship that which I worship. Hadrat Khabbab says: " The Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) said to me: when you lie down in bed to sleep, recite Qul ya-ayyuhal kafirun, and this was the Holy Prophet's own practice also when he lay down to sleep, he recited this Surah." (Bazzar, Tabarani, Ibn Marduyah). Several traditions on this subject with a little variation in wording have been related by Imam Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Nasai, Ibn Majah, Ibn Hibban, Ibn Marduyah from Ibn Umar. It is narrated that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) has related that on many an occasion he heard the Holy Prophet reciting Surahs Qul Ya- ayyuhal- kafirun and Qul Huwu-Allahu ahad in the two rakahs before the Fajr obligatory Prayer and in the two rakahs after the Maghrib obligatory Prayer. The tone of the verses of Surah al Kafirun is very harsh and strong which also indicates that no compromise will exist in future between Muslims and Kafirs. And there is clear dividing line between us and you without any compromised taking place. Allah SWT is clearly indicating that we’ll not worship what you worship and we know you’re not going to worship what we are worshiping. In Surah Kafirun, Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala is addressing the type of relationship which can be established with disbelievers. The surah addresses the non-believers in very harsh tone while giving a lesson of taking them hard and disassociation from them. Surah al Kafirun is 109 th chapter of the Holy Quran and is also known as Al Kafiroon the word Kafirun is an Arabic Word which means "The Disbelievers".
